Bronze Bars, Ingots & Raw Materials — Direct from Foundry

Fittings y Llaverias Ltda. produces bronze bars, ingots, and semi-finished materials in a wide range of alloys, cast and finished in our own foundry in Lampa, Santiago. Whether you need a single bar cut to length or a recurring supply of ingots for your own machining shop, we deliver quality bronze with full traceability — spectrometry analysis included with every order.

Bronze Bars

We cast continuous and centrifugal bronze bars in three profiles:

Round bars: The most common format for machining bushings, bearings, and turned parts. Available in diameters from 25 mm to 300 mm.

Hexagonal bars: Used for valve components, nuts, and fittings where a hex profile simplifies machining and assembly.

Square bars: For structural applications, wear plates, and custom machined components.

All bars are cast to order and can be cut to your specified length. We maintain stock of the most popular sizes in SAE 64 and SAE 65 for quick delivery.

Bronze Ingots

We produce bronze ingots for foundries, machine shops, and manufacturers who need certified raw material for their own casting or forging operations. Our ingots are available in the following alloys:

SAE 40 (C90300): Tin bronze. Excellent for valves, fittings, and pump components. Good machinability and pressure tightness.

SAE 64 (C93200): High-lead tin bronze. The standard for medium-load bearings and bushings. Self-lubricating properties.

SAE 65 (C90500): Gun metal. High strength and excellent pressure tightness for valves, gears, and heavy-duty fittings.

SAE 660 (C93200): Bearing bronze. The most widely used alloy for sleeve bearings worldwide. Excellent wear resistance under heavy loads.

Phosphor bronze (C51000/C52100): Outstanding fatigue resistance and spring properties. Used for electrical contacts, springs, and diaphragms.

Aluminum bronze (C95400/C95500): Exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. The go-to alloy for marine, mining, and chemical processing applications.

Spectrometry Analysis Included

Every batch of bars and ingots we produce is analyzed in our spectrometry lab to verify alloy composition. You receive a material certificate with your order, documenting the exact percentages of copper, tin, lead, zinc, and other elements. This ensures your finished parts meet the mechanical properties your application demands.
